Join us to witness the salon transformed into outer space with the paintings of Simon Kregar. Simon’s work spreads science awareness through art, he hopes to build an understanding of who and where we are in the universe. His large format acrylic paintings commemorate historical scientific events such as the Gemini and Apollo space missions.
Simon will give a special presentation at 7:30. Seating is FREE, but limited, so get here early!

Simon Kregar has been nominated for the 2014 Governor’s Arts Award which recognizes excellence in artistic expression and outstanding contributions to the AZ arts community!. The Awards celebration will be held at the Mesa Art Center’s Ikeda Theater, 1 E. Main, Mesa AZ, on March 25th, with a reception and silent auction from 5pm to 7pm followed by the awards ceremony from 7 to 8.
